Alisma, Rhz.

alisma-energiedynamikAlisma, Rhz.

Dosis: 25g/Tag

  1. Metabolisches Syndrom
  1. 1. Diabetes Typ 2

Study on the hypoglycemic activities and metabolism of alcohol extract of Alismatis Rhizoma
So AEA had protostane-type triterpenes, these type compounds in AEA may have hypoglycemic activity via inhibition of alpha-glucosidase activity and promotion of glucose uptake

Screening of herbal extracts for activation of the human peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor.
The most active extracts, for which a concentration dependent effect could be shown, were the extracts of Alisma plantago aquatica (ze xie/european waterplantain). The results of the present study provide a possible rationale for the traditional use of many herbs as antidiabetics.

Protective effects of the Alisma orientalis extract on the experimental nonalcoholic fatty liver disease
the high level of fasting serum glucose was reduced and insulin resistance was improved

1.2. Hyperlipidämie

Hypolipidemic effects of Alismatis rhizome on lipid profile in mice fed high-fat diet.
These results confirmed the efficacy of AR in the treatment of hyperlipidemia. Alismatis rhizome may act by decreasing the liver synthesis of cholesterol, rather than by increasing the cholesterol catabolism.

Protective effects of the Alisma orientalis extract on the experimental nonalcoholic fatty liver diseaseAdministration with the AOME (150,300 and 600 mg kg (-1)) markedly decreased the serum and liver lipid

1.3. Hypertonie

Local variation in the content of angiotensin II and arginine vasopressin receptor antagonistic terpenoids in the rhizomes of Alisma orientaleThe aqueous extract of the Chinese crude drug Alismatis rhizoma, a dried rhizome of Alisma orientale Juzepczuk, exhibited in vitro inhibitory activities on angiotensin II and arginine vasopressin binding to their receptors

  1. Fettleber

Protective effects of the Alisma orientalis extract on the experimental nonalcoholic fatty liver disease
Markers of the liver injury, aminotransferase abnormalities and hepatomegaly were improved and morphological changes, such as liver steatosis, mixed inflammation and collagen deposition, were lessened in rats treated with the AOME. These results suggested that the AOME showed hepatoprotective effects on NAFLD and may be a potential clinical application for treatment of this chronic liver disease.

Traditional Chinese Medicine improves dysfunction of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor alpha and microsomal triglyceride transfer protein on abnormalities in lipid metabolism in ethanol-fed ratsTCM restored the mRNA levels of PPARalpha and MTP, and prevented development of fatty livers in ethanol-fed rats. Impairment of PPARalpha and MTP function during ethanol consumption contributes to the development of alcohol-induced fatty liver, which can be overcome by TCM.

  1. Krebs

Alisol B, a novel inhibitor of the sarcoplasmic/endoplasmic reticulum Ca(2+) ATPase pump, induces autophagy, endoplasmic reticulum stress, and apoptosis
Across several cancer cell lines, we showed that alisol B-treated cells displayed an increase of autophagic flux and formation of autophagosomes, leading to cell cycle arrest at the G(1) phase and cell death. This study provides detailed insights into the cytotoxic mechanism of a novel antitumor compound.

2.1. Leukämie, lymphatische

Effect of alisol B acetate, a plant triterpene, on apoptosis in vascular smooth muscle cells and lymphocytes
Alisol B acetate, a triterpene from Alisma Plantago-aquatica, has a glucocorticoid-like structure, and may have a similar function like glucocorticoid-induced apoptosis in both vascular smooth muscle cell line (A7r5) and human acute lymphoblastic leukemia cell line (CEM cells).

4 Allergien

The rhizomes of Alisma orientale and alisol derivatives inhibit allergic response and experimental atopic dermatitis.
In addition, AOE (200 mg/kg/d) was for the first time found to considerably alleviate hapten-induced dermatitis symptoms in NC/Nga mice, an animal model of atopic dermatitis. These results indicate that alisol derivatives possess inhibitory activities on immediate-type as well as delayed-type hypersensitivity reactions and may contribute to the anti-allergic action of AOE.

  1. Erosive Knochenkrankheiten

Alisol-B, a novel phyto-steroid, suppresses the RANKL-induced osteoclast formation and prevents bone loss in mice

Bone resorption by osteoclasts is considered a potential therapeutic target to the treatment of erosive bone diseases, including osteoporosis, rheumatoid arthritis, and periodontitis. In the present study, we found that alisol-B, a phyto-steroid from Alisma orientale Juzepczuk, exhibited inhibitory effects on osteoclastogenesis both in vitro and in vivo.

  1. Nierensteine (Calciumoxalat)

An experimental study of effect of different extracts of Alisma orientalis on urinary calcium oxalate stones formation in rats

The ethyl acetate elution of ethyl acetate fraction extract of Alisma orientalis can significantly inhibit urinary calcium oxalate stone formation in rats and be the most effective constituent of Alisma orientalis.

The effects of the active constituents of Alisma orientalis on renal stone formation and bikunin expression in rat urolithiasis model

The active constituents of Alisma orientalis can down-regulate the bikunin mRNA expression, decrease the calcium oxalate formation in rat kidney, and inhibit the renal stone formation in rat urolithiasis model
